I need help !!!

Hey guys i am having trouble with setting up my new iphone.

 

So basically my iphone 4s broke ( the phone did not turn on for more then 30 seconds even when plugged in ) and i had to get a new iphone. So i got a iphone 6s. Here is where the problem begins. I want to keep all of my contacts and photos etc from my iphone 4s but i can not back my iphone 4s up and transfer it to my new phone ( the iphone 6s ) as it will not turn on for more than 30 seconds. Any solutions anyone ??

Do you mean hooking it up to my computer ?

In order to do this will i need to install itunes on to my computer and continue from there correct

 

and is it possible you could go through this with me step by step as i am not to familiar with all this

Did you have iCloud backup turned on? If so, then all your data should be there. Furthermore, you should always sync your contacts and photos to your Apple ID and not keep them offline.

 

If you did have that turned on, you should only need to login to your Apple ID and let it sync back over.

Icloud backup was turned on and i relember backing it up a long time ago but i ahve not turned the 4s on in so long and when i went to load it on to the 6s it was not even there

When plugging the iphone 4s into my computer it will not turn on, it looks like it will only turn on when plugged into the wall

Without the phone booting up, there is no way to retrieve the data from it, so you should really check your iCloud contents. Go to iCloud.com and see whether all your pictures are there.

is there any way of me uploadign me images / contacts in that 30 seconds / minute that my iphone 4 sis on ?

The OS needs to load completely before iTunes can even contact the contents of the phone. If you set your contacts to sync to your Apple ID you should be fine anyway.

When i did sync my iphone 6s with my icloud i was able to use the backup from my iphone 4 ( i got the iphone 4 after the 4s as a temp to use while i look for a better phone but it ended up stop working too ) i only god a few contacts that i put on the phone while using the 4 . so if i did set my contacts to sync with my apple id how would i do this ?

If you had your full contacts synced to your apple ID, your list should be complete, if not, the contacts were only saved to phone memory and not even to the SIM card. You'd need to get the 4S repaired to get everything back.

So would you reccomend just starting the iphone off as a new iphone and just log into icloud instead of trying to start it from a backup ?

The 4 and 4S used micro SIM cards, and the 5S and later use nano SIM. If your SIM card doesn't have a way to press out the nano SIM part, then you'll need to contact your carrier to get you a new SIM card.

You said it stays on plugged into the wall right??? When it is in the wall you can download this to it http://www.xender.com/ & your other phone & use that to transfer clients... I have a android so that is all I can help with... Or jist transfer contact to the sdcard then put the sdcard in the new phone...

The phone only stays on for about 30 second and all the contacts are on the phone notthe sd card
