cpu upgrade for vive and forza

Hi all

so i currenty running a i5 7500 paired with a 1060gtx 3gb windforce OC edtion and having issues with frames on open world games eg forza horizon 4 so i was looking at upgrading it i was looking at the i5 6600k the i5 7600k or maybe an i7 depending on price what would you recommend within reasonable price similar to the 6600 and 7600k may change the mobo which is a gigabyte b250-hd3p. Im also getting a HTC vive headset which is another reason i want to upgrade but with out spending too much more.

thanks

If you're super sampling and playing on a 1440p monitor or higher, you just need a GPU upgrade, your CPU is fine.
