Re-install Premiere and if that doesn't resolve it, contact Adobe. They'll gladly help you out.

Welcome to stable as a rock Adobe products. Especially Premiere.

Reinstalling program that is installed correctly gives you nothing. The same files will be written in the same folders, nothing changes. It's probably because some codecs in system - I hope you don't use codecs packs before. Premiere, as far as I remember, don't like codecs packs.

Reinstalling can configure files differently.

I am. More than people that thinks that installing the same program on the same computer makes different result every time. It's not "random install".

Premiere is sensitive and has knows problems. It can crash if someone using some codec packs (what I mentioned) and I would find problem somewhere in codecs (or even hardware) rather than in Premiere installation. New Windows update may replace some codecs and settings and that may be a reason.
