reviews indicate that the asus ROG strix is almost 10 degree celsius cooler, i'll consider that one too. Right now i'm waiting for stock, as soon as a MSI trio x or an ASUS ROG STRIX comes into stock, im going to get one, does not matter which one which ever one s in stock first

Asus Strix cards are basically the best.

EVGA makes really good cards and their customer service and warranty is unmatched.

the xc ultra is ref pcb iirc, so if you are buying that, it's for the warranty, not performance, for perf it's btwn the trio and strix

Welcome to the LTT forums! I recommend the FTW3, I don't trust those stock boards from Nvidia, they have cheaped out one too many times on the memory inductors for me to trust them any time in the near future.

Wait a minute, you're telling me you're willing to pony up a premium of 500'ish USD for the MSI Gaming X Trio or the Asus Strix over the other versions like the MSI Duke or the Gigabyte Windforce OC? Serious?! These price gaps are what I've gleaned from Amazon....

Thanks for the answers. I was considering the asus card, but I can find the MSI and Evga cards almost 200 euros cheaper. From all these answers the MSI is looking like the better choice. Though haven't looked at the gigabyte cards...

And the custom pcb cards from Evga haven't come out here yet.
