Need help, ATX case

haloharry97

Hello, am planning to put my old pc in the front room.

But I need a new case and I need it to have where it has a wife approval.

Am thinking of small and pure mat black, no side windows. I prefer it to Faver slient over airflow.

All I be using the system for is VR.

FormFactor of my motherboard

  • ATX Form Factor
    12 inch x 9.6 inch ( 30.5 cm x 24.4 cm )
My CPU cooler is h80i
My GPU asus gtx 1080 strix

Thank you all for your help and time.

I have a sg13b which fits a full power supply but is limited to the gpu size - I have a rx 580 which barely fits.

As mentioned above, that gpu will probably be too big for a small case.

Pcpartpicker is a useful website, if you fill in your hardware it will filter cases that will fit and inform you if there is any restrictions

I wouldn't recommend putting an Asus GTX 1080 Strix in a small case where it will choke, but if you have no other option: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147262

The case supports 300mm max GPU length, and your GPU is 298mm. It will be a really tight fit.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | MOBO: MSI B450 Tomahawk GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800XT | RAM: GSkill Trident Z DDR4 3600Mhz | PSU: ADATA Core Reactor 850W 80+ Gold | CASE: Fractal Design Meshify C MONITOR: LG 32UL500-W 4K 60Hz, Gigabyte M27Q 1440p 165Hz

I just realized your motherboard is ATX. Yeah, you are not gonna be able to find a small case for that thing.

I always love an excuse for an sg13. @haloharry97 should get a new, tiny motherboard to make it work lol

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I would recommend the Fractal Design Define C.

It's one of the more compact ATX cases that still has good features and build quality.

PC: CPU: Intel i7-4790 MB: Gigabyte B85N RAM: Adata 4GB + Kingston 8GB SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB GPU: XFX GTR RX 480 8GB Case: Advantech IPC-510 PSU: Corsair RM1000i KB: Idobao x YMDK ID75 with Outemu Silent Grey Mouse: Logitech G305 Mousepad: LTT Deskpad Headphones: AKG K240 Sextett
