Google Digital Garage Certificate/Qualification - Is It Recognised?

Hi, so I attended the Google Digital Garage online course earlier in August, and I was so hyped that I finally got the certificate, which is for the Fundamentals In Digital Marketing, which covers things such as SEO, local advertising, multinational expansion, website development, and market research.

 

I've since gone through many interviews and even had friends and family ask what this certificate is, what I did to get it, and what it can contribute towards in terms of a career.

 

Is the Google Digital Garage Fundamentals In Digital Marketing a recognised qualfication? I live in Scotland here in the UK and I'm yet to see a person who knows about this so I feel like my efforts to gain this qualification were in vain.
