CPU Running Hot with Water Cooling (H80i GT & i7-7700k)

So I recently replaced my Motherboard, CPU & GPU and obviously had to re-fit my water cooling. What my main question is, is that I'm not sure if my actual "pump" is working. The cooling block is sitting snug on the CPU itself and i've re-applied thermal paste twice. Also i'm using the "Corsair LINK" software and it's not actually showing my pump on there, only the 2 fans that I have (including the one on the water cooler)

One more thing, do I need to have the Micro USB going from the Cooling Block to the Motherboard for the pump to actually work? Because that seems to be missing from my PC.

Temps are 40-50 idle and 70-80 while gaming.

Have you checked if pump is recognized in Bios?

USB going from block to the motherboard is probably RGB control.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus ROG Strix B650E / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Powercolor RX 7900 XTX Red Devil/ EVGA 750W GQ / NZXT H5 Flow

That is an 120mm water cooler, so pretty worthless, so the temps seem about right if overclocked.

What are the temps during cinebench?

I only see your reply if you @ me.

All I see in BOIS is CPU_Fan & CHA_Fan (both working), but under Water Pump is just says N/A so i'm not sure.

Is the 3pin  or 4pin cable that is coming from the waterpump actually connected to the motherboard?

Try to connect the water pump cable into the cpu_fan slot and see if it gives any info.

Yeah that's connected, here's a video on installation:

I've done exactly what's stated here.

If you put your hand on the pump or the tubes, do you feel water flowing thought it?

It seems like the pump is dead.

One more question:

What is the temperature of the cpu when first starting the pc, vs when it has been running for a while? Does it just rise exponentially?

Yeah, I can feel the tubes vibrating when I touch them,

Usually starts at about 30-40 and then it'll sit at about 50-60 after being on for a while

It will go to 60 at idle?

The pretty much confirms the dead pump theory?

IF it was just a bad cooler, it would still sit at 30c in idle, but it would hit 80c while under load.
