Hi,

I have an i7-6500U and a 940M laptop. I've tried turning down all the settings, bitrate, on OBS... but when I play osu + stream it still lags to 5FPS.

Is there any way to stream osu with my current setup? If not, are there any ways to stream with my laptop then?

You really shouldnt be streaming on that laptop. Its not meant for streaming, and is going to struggle regardless. You can adjust a ton and still end up with bleh results :/

Your hardware is really weak, most you can do is try to use shadowplay, or NVENC encoding in OBS at a low resolution if need be.

On the bright side 7nm APUs will be out maybe before the end of the year if you can upgrade.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

You can try with QuickSync. But first, post your settings. Its highly possible that you are running too heavy bitrate for the specs. You should get 720p running.
