Is G-Sync worth the extra money?

  1. 1. I'm trying to decide between a 4k IPS monitor with or without gsync, they seem to be about 250 euro cheaper on average. Is it worth the extra money?

I'm trying to decide between a 4k IPS monitor with or without gsync, they seem to be about 250 euro cheaper on average. I'm a casual gamer I suppose it would be nice to have gsync since im playing at 4k and I will be dipping below 60fps every so often but Im not sure if its worth it

If your graphics card have no hope of maintaining 60fps, buy the non-Gsync model and upgrade the graphics card

Otherwise... you don't need Gsync anyway?

If you have not purchased a g-sync supported gpu, then no, it is definitely not worth it

How is Vega Pricing in your country?

If it is somewhat similar to the pascal equivelent then get a Freesync 4k panel or freesync 1440p ips panes

I dont really want to upgrade anything in my pc, Im only looking at monitors as I need another one for college, but I might aswell buy one I like, so the option is really just 4k gsync or 4k no gsync

Well, your GPU isnt the greatest at running 4K. Id get a monitor without itor with freesync as it ks more or less a freebe. Better of saving 250€
