Nvidia Control Panel Option

Hello,

 

I have a MSI GE63 8RF-099CA laptop which has Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card. Also, it has Intel integrated graphics 630 in it.

So in the Nvidia Control Panel, only the 3D Settings Option is available. 

I am pretty sure there are more than just one option! 

So I would like to get the other options too like the Display option, Stereoscopic 3D option, and the Video option.

Also, does the Intel Integrated Graphics have to do with it? (NVIDIA OPTIMUS)

 

What the thing with Display Driver Uninstaller? Will it help in any situation regarding this issue?

that's normal for laptops with optimus.

 

With optimus, your monitor is hooked up to the iGPU. When you run 3D apps, calculated data from the GTX 1070 will have to go through the iGPU and reach your monitor. Because of this design, things like monitor overclocking, colour adjustments etc arent available from Nvidia control panel.

Okay! so the Optimus brings out the best from the GPU instead of manually changing the setting! right?

yes and no. The settings that are gone just can't be handled by Nvidia control panel because it's in either Intel's iGPU control app or Windows. Of course Nvidia will let the GPU perform as well as it can when it's being used.
