If you want faster internet, you'll need to call your ISP and all ISPs that are available to you and find out what is available to you and your budget. Many ISPs will let you rent equipment or may even include it with subscription. This of course really depends on things like your location and what ISPs serve your area.

1 Mbps? that is hardly fast enough to stream a Youtube video in SD.
