MSI Ge62 laptop screen stopped working after disassembly

Hello everyone,

My laptop had a problem in one of the fans. To fix it, I needed to remove it, and to remove the fan I had to unplug the screen connector from the motherboard. After fixing the fan and putting everything back together, the laptop works normally but the screen does not. I can still use it through HDMI no problem. Device manager or screen properties don't even find or recognize the laptop's own display. The whole screen just stays black, and it's not just the backlight (already tried shining a flashlight at the screen).

Is there anything I could measure with a voltmeter to see if what's broken is the cable or the mobo connector?

Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance
