SA:MP is lagging very much on Gaming PC

Hello!

 

Yesterday I installed some good ol' SA:MP and when I launched the game, I witness a big amount of lag (5fps straight, all the time)...

 

This is frustrating me very much, and the game is, of course, unplayable on 5fps......

 

 

Unless I set the Compatibility on Windows 98 / Windows Me, when SA:MP or GTA:SA start loading, it immediately crashes...

 

I had to downgrade my game to version 1.0, cause I had some problems with a white screen while loading SA:MP or GTA:SA...

 

My system specifications:

 

asus dual gtx 1060

i7-7700K 4.2 Ghz

water cooling

16gb ddr4 ram

2tb hdd

256gb ssd

 

The game is installed on my ssd to reduce longer loading times...

 

Could anyone please help me fix this?

Have you tried running it with a widescreen fix mod? This shouldn't cause crashing, but you can try. 

I also recall that it some older games had an issue with running on muti-core cpus.  Have you tried going via task manager into the application settings and setting it to only run on 1 or 2 cores?

I just reinstalled the game, and everything seems to work fine
