Help finding Case for mod

Hey all!

 

I'm looking for a case to mod. The design is basically going to be a lian li pc-o6sx clone (who can afford a $300 case lol), and I need a pc case with similar dimensions, W=5.8, H=20, L=19. It doesn't matter what it looks like, as long as the width is or is close to 5 inches. It's going to be gutted completely. I'm also open to just buying sheets of aluminum and making a case out of that, but that would not be ideal because I don't posses the proper tools to cut and bend metal. Ebay is okay, I've looked on craigslist and they don't have much.

Preferably mATX, but if there's an ATX case with the dimensions I need, I'll take it. I've been looking at Dell Optiplex's online, but they are too small for what I'm trying to do.

I'm around the point where I say F the budget (increased to $100), order some aluminum sheets, and build my own case..... Yay or nay? I'm just worried about cutting and bending the metal.

Well if you don't have a reliable way to cut or bend metal, you'll have to have a shop do it, and at that point you're basically looking at fabricating companies like ProtoCase that do custom cases.
