Windows freezes on startup...

So... a lot of people might just rub this off, but this is a workstation I use in a home studio in front of clients. some people might just tell me to reinstall windows but avid pro tools is REALLY HARD to get settings back after a reinstall and I would like this fixed...

the problem is windows startsup, freezes the fans spin up REALLY FAST and it stays like this for 2 min, the screens go black and then it goes back to normal. this is embarrassing in front of clients and any help would be appreciated.
