I will legit send you £10 if you can figure this issue out

JamesHewitt

So, I have a focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and an AT 2035. I can detect myself working on the direct monitor, and on windows, and with audacity I can record myself. Whenever I try and use discord or skype (two i've tested) it locks up my mic and won't let me speak or even work at all.

I will make a quick video explaining and attach in comments.

help pls

check in Sound settings if your Playback and Recording devices are set to the same sample rate

(for example 48000hz 24 bit)

"Note: We are aware of an issue where 1st Generation Scarlett Solo and 2i2 cannot be used as an input and output device simultaneously in some WDM applications (such as Skype, Discord, TeamSpeak etc). If you encounter this then please ensure that you have installed our latest driver from the Downloads section of our site."

from Focusrite website, seems to be a problem with Windows 10 Fall Creators update, maybe you updated to it late.

here's the link to the driver
