Big difference in Core Temperature

well for starters, why does it look like you're only using 3 cores?

Are you stress testing because it looks like one of your cores failed and stopped. This would explain why that core is 15c cooler.  :rolleyes:

I just overclocked my 3570k to 4.6ghz@1.1v. My coldest core is about 15°C colder than the others. Is this the consequence of a bad installation or could this have other reasons?

If you applied your thermal paste what method did you use? If you didn't get an even spread that can be an issue. Also make sure your cooler is making proper contact.

Yes, your per core usage graphs would have one core flat-lined. Check the program you're stressing with, the way it looks right now is that that core is unstable at that given overclock and voltage.
