USB 3.1 gen 2 problem

What case is it? Im surprised it doesn't have an additional 3.1 gen 1 header too (The old 19 pin blue rectangle one)

 

Right now there's no Male USB 3.1 gen1 to Female USB 3.1 gen2 adapter than I know of.

Yep your Strix-F motherboard definitely doenst have the 3.1 gen 2 header, but the Strix-E does. 

 

I cant find an adapter for it, so for now you're stuck without that Type C connector on your case (unless you havent bought that motherboard yet)
