Their customer support is shit and their products always seem to break just outside of the warranty period.

You have no problem right now. Come back in 6 months or about 3 weeks after the 1 year warranty is up.

Outsourcing, and the fact that it's not their problem.

 

Like most OG's the origonal products are excellent and then they outsource when demand gets to high, then QC suffers, and they don't care enough. If you want a case in point check out alienware.

I own half a dozen Razer products, and they all suck except my black widow ultimate from 2014, which has somehow survived way longer than expected.  They're the Apple of PC gaming, their stuff costs way more than it's worth. If I didn't have a boner for black and green I'd never get a Razer product again probably. 

Also, I managed to find an insane deal on some sabertooth Xbox 360 controllers, and have been using those for a while too.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

My Razer Deathadder died after 9 months of use. Getting the Chroma software to install was an absolute nightmare. Honestly some of the most overpriced, unreliable PC hardware I have ever bought in my life. I recently bought a Corsair Scimitar and like it. It took some getting used to however.
