BF4 stops working only under one condition.

When my roommate tries to play BF4 on his system,  both of our games crash at the same time.

The only thing I could think of is a possible networking problem but I don't know where to begin.

Now some info:

Router - Linksys N900

Internet - 60 Mb/s

My system - fx-8350, gtx 680, 16GB corsair vengeance pro, Crosshair v formula-z

Roommates system - fx-4100, gtx 650ti boost, 8GB vengeance, asus mfa99fx-pro

Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Could either be your router resetting itself or just the server itself crashing (I've experienced it multiple times with my roommates resetting my router whilst I'm in game and when I'm playing on the very popular, high traffic servers that will randomly crash and boot all 64 players). Are you sure it's not just the servers you play on?

Mind you, my personal rig has been out of service for about a month now and I'm not sure if the networking issues have resolved themselves or not. To give you a general explanation: only in battlefield.

its not the server, my brother (at his house) stayed connected just fine.

Thats bit weird for networking problem. The thing is that BF4 may start to use more brandwidth than it should. Download TrafficshaperXP http://bandwidthcontroller.com/trafficShaperXp.html and limit your connection to 10Mbs or 15Mbs and test again.

This is definitely internet related. There is nothing else that would cause BOTH systems to crash simultaneously. If it happened only once I would chalk it up to sheer statistical probability, but multiple times? It isn't the game. Games don't magically crash on multiple machines at the same exact time.
