I just got mail from GOG.com

 

New Witcher game will be releasing in 18 23. October 2018 only on PC and GOG.

I was fully prepared to wait for Cyberpunk 2077. This is a very pleasant slap to the face from nowhere.

Yep, it looks interesting. I won't be pre-ordering, but I am keeping my eye on it.

I got this email as I just cracked open the 3rd book. I was so hype.

 

I love everything about this series. I could care less if its not the traditional 3rd person as 2 and 3 were.

I... don't know. Looks kind of like a telltale game. But all the combat is Gwent I guess?

Not a fan of the art style.

Doesn't remind me of any Telltale game. 

More like some of the old RPGs. Kinda like Divine Divinity but instead of Diablo like combat, the encounters are resolved with Gwent. 

 

If it's not your style, fair enough. I think I will like it. I'm not pre-ordering though.

The art style mainly. Just never liked it.
