Laptop Fan Speed Issue

I did a fresh windows Install on my laptop from a boot usb, and now my the fan on the laptop is a lot more audible than it was before. I have checked to make sure there was nothing running in the task manager, I downloaded all the appropriate drivers from the manufacturer's website, I'm even in the power saver mode. Not sure what else to do, anyone have a clue?

Thanks in advance!

Likely the windows install the manufacture put on there had software to control the fan speed and it ran slower when the laptop was idle. You can also check your computers/windows power options and check processor speed management setting.

hp envy x360 13, Ryzen 5 2500u, 8gb ddr4, 128gb ssd.

If someone could please offer me a solution, I'm feeling very frustrated right now. The fan also kicks up really loud in the bios, so im not even sure it's a windows thing. I'm completely lost.

Unfortunately that's normal with Ryzen laptops due to bad firmware/BIOS. Moreover it's a 13 inch Ultrabook which isn't suitable for Ryzen mobile due to efficiency reasons

Have you try updating firmware/BIOS?

I actually feel like that was the issue, because it wasn't ramping up like this before I did the clean install. I had it for a week before.
