Monitor advice for a friend

TheRandomSpectator

Hey all!

So my friend asked me to build a compute for her, and I threw together the following configuration (feel free to judge that as well--I'm open to advice).

Anyways, I'm in this forum to discuss the monitor. She's going to be doing photo editing (among other things), so I'd like to get at least a 1440p color accurate monitor. This is not something I know much about. What would you guys recommend? Oh, and the budget is ~$2k (don't have an exact amount yet).

Thanks!

Eizo are well known for their perfect image reproduction. But I think any good IPS will be enough. Iiyama maybe?

The Dell UP2516D is probably one of the best budget monitors right now for that purpose:

You could also probably save a good $100 or so off your budget by using a Ryzen 5 instead.
