Partner RTX 2080 Card Question

So here is my question. Looking at a RTX 2080 and trying to compare models with each other is impossible with out the full specs and the the TBD crap. So how long till the full release of all the partner cards, and there specs. I had heard that some brands are going to be making there own variants of the card i.e. silicon. An example might be Gigabyte doesn't currently have a Aorus model are the going to? I have cash burning a hole in my proverbial pocket. I guess I would say I need a new GPU my current card isn't cutting it(not dead just low Image quality). Looking at the 1080 Ti the Aorus model has great spec's. I guess I am tired of waiting and I am getting antsy. Any how thank you in advance!

the rtx 2080 is pretty pointless, as a gtx 1080ti is cheaper and performs as good or even better than the rtx 2080 in some cases.

If you truly want rtx then get the rtx 2080ti. If you don't care about ray-tracing get a gtx 1080ti.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

get a used 1080ti and when the prices come down replace it for a 2080ti (only if youre playing at 1440p or higher)

Why would you want to do that? My guess is you'll lose even more money reselling the 1080ti at that point.

because in the mean time I saved 450$ by buying the used 1080ti instead of the 2080 and its the same perf
