If you're doing streaming buy the 8 core

What resolution/refresh rate? if it's only 1080p 60hz you don't need a GTX 1080

What budget/country for the PC?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

It's not a very different performance boost with 2 more cores, maybe a few seconds (or minutes depending) and a few more frames streaming, but save your money imo.

The 2 cores is the difference between dropping frames at certain settings, and not dropping any frames at those settings. for the R5 6 core vs R7 8 core.

Easily worth buying the 2 extra cores.

Just don't waste money on G-sync for the 1440p 144hz IPS display
