Xubuntu 11.10 support

I was wondering if Xubuntu 11.10 "Oneric Ocelot" supported my video card (a 3dfx VooDoo3 3000 AGP) and my sound card (a SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 Digital). So... Yeah.

It may? The only way to realistically know for sure is to try the live cd or boot off of a flash drive if possible.

 

Sound card should work, GPU i'm not too sure though.

Guess it doesn't matter now. Dropped my CD and it shattered. xD

 

Oh well. Thanks anyway dude. Now I'm gonna try to find the community drivers for the video card for XP. Then I'll find my Puppy Linux CD and use it.

Dropped it down stairs. xD I am that good. Giving Apollo a little shine, installing Windows and so forth right now. Might put Puppy Linux on it later on, depends on how it behaves. Future retro kinda-build log, coming soon to a Linus Tech Tips Forum near you!
