Should I change my monitor because of that backlight bleed?

Is this ok for LG 23MP68VQ or its better to exchange it for another monitor?

It might look more severe in pictures, so I can't quite tell.

 

If the bleed annoys you enough, then you should replace it.

 

If the bleed is barely noticeable and you can just see it in daily use, then no reason to replace an entire monitor.

On a uniform background it is noticeable, and very annoying that the gray color for some reason brightens, if a little deviate to the side. It is in the lower right corner.

Also, it’s very noticeable in dark games in right sight. I’m just afraid that can exchange monitor for another with much worse defects like dead pixels

I still dont get it why led monitors have gotten so popular. They all have so many defects, VA has ghosting, IPS has glow and BLB and low contrast, TN has horrible viewing angles and colors.

Out of these terrible options ips is the least problematic, but im waiting for oled monitors in 2019-2020, maybe even QLED.
