Ltt app?

With a community forum as big as this i think we should have a linus tech tip forum app. Who' s with me?

 

If any staff member sees this pls ask for an app that would be so awesome and handy.

the amount of work required to build and maintain an app doesnt outweigh the fact that as long as you have decent mobile data the website already works just fine.

except for the fact its hard to @people at the start of the post and its also hard to quote people sometimes.

It worked fine on my school ipads but never on my phones, maybe its because the phone is always vertical.. dunno

forum website tends to be a bit.. "special" on mobile, but its not annoying me nearly enough to even bother thinking of the concept of a forum app, which based on how many different phone shapes and sizes there are.. will probably share at least some of the UI issues.

Maybe I should update my listing of all threads asking about this. I stopped doing it about year ago because school, work and other things. But let me ask same question I've asked from everyone wanting app, what you want it to do? Other than taking up RAM and space on your device.

would be nice for notifications and being cool but other than that it wouldn't do anything the site can't, so its prob not worth the time and money

Notifications are only thing. But Firefox, maybe others, has already that functionality and is basicly doing it like dedicated app would.
