FaceTime Doesn't Work On Cellular

I have never been able to make facetime calls from LTE and just ignored it. Now I need to and I can't seem to allow it. My sister who is on the same data plan can make calls on LTE but in my settings on my phone the option to receive and send calls from my phone number is grayed out. So when I try to make a call it says please connect to WiFi. I have already checked in cellular settings and such and it is all on

Just keeping this here as a The 5s Supports LTE which is a superior network by every measure. The only reason I can think of it not working is a software/networking bug or some limit that your carrier has imposed on you.

But yeah, since I got my phone about a year after it came out I've never been able to Facetime on mobile data. The networking chip in it is pretty shit anyways so even if it did let me it wouldn't be a great experience.

Yeah, I’d call them up as ask why their network isn’t letting you FaceTime. A while back some carriers straight up disabled FaceTime over LTE, they might be doing it again.
