PC turns on automatic?

i have recently upgraded to windows 8 and had no problems.

but in the last few days i noticed my pc turns on by it self around 6-7 in the morning.

anyone have a idea why and how?

 

and how can i fix this?

 

BTW: i updated my MOBO drivers and some other stuff after i got windows 8.

Disable all "wake by ..." options in the BIOS and see if the problem persist.

Perhaps you're doing it when you're sleep walking .

@pepsimaxi, just thought I would mention that your topic title needs to have "ally" added onto the end of automatic because it doesn't sound right. It should read "PC Turns Off Automatically" instead of "PC Turns Off Automatic".

this has happend to me before, but it was due to ram issues (XMP settings not configured correctly), so if you havent messed with that, i dont know..

 

for the record my pc turned on precisly 7 seconds after shutdown.. I did mound a wall power switch and just pressed the button when it shut down

when im done useing my computer i go to the Start menu then click Shutdown.

the pc shutsdown completely but when i wake up in the morning its on. no one is turning it on, it does it  by itself
