Ideas for fixing NAS bottlenecking.

I went with peer to peer 10GBe with my 2 rigs and my NAS but I use an nvme ssd cache and have the mover work in the middle of the night spinners will always be the bottleneck

I just got done setting up raid 10 on my windows server, seeing transfer speeds on a 1gig line of 84MBps, i was wondering what kind of solution i could use to remove the 1gig bottleneck (while staying cost effective)

 

Here's my 2 current ideas:

Buy 2 10gig pcie cards and hook them up from my computer to my nas

Somehow use usb 3.0 from one computer to another.

 

Any other ideas are welcome, I'm more interested if i can use usb 3.0 because it seems that it would be simpler.

84 MB/s read or write? If that's write speeds, then the drives' write speeds are the bottleneck, because RAID 10 means writing to two RAID 0-s. 10G networking ain't going to help.

The drives write at 500+Meg's I had the same issue with 3 drive raid
