IS GTX 780 Poseidon a good buy?

Someone offered it to me for £70. Should I take it? It's the one which can be water or air cooled, whichever one you want. Performance between 1050 Ti and 1060.

 

Planning to pair it with i5 3570k.

CPU: Intel Core i9 13900KS SP 116 (124P-102E) (6.1Ghz P-Cores 4.8Ghz E-cores) MC SP 88

CPU Voltage: LLC8 1.525V (real voltage 1.425V + - Temps 85-90 P-Cores, 70-73 E-cores)

Cooled by: Supercool Direct Die 14th gen full nickel

There going for 110-135  steadily atm.

It uses more watts than a new one. Apart from that, that is apretty damn good deal!

 

I just looked up the price I could get on a used gtx 780 , 970 or 1060 and the best deal was at 120€ so 130$ ?

I’d do it. But it has its pro’s and cons being a half an half card like that.

I'd say, "Hell yeah, go for it!". I'd upgraded my GPU for my HTPC rig (i7 2600K, 8GB RAM) from a Sapphire HD7970 to a Leadtek GTX1080 Hurricane (about 327USD, converted from local $). Tried out Gears of Wars Ultimate and UT3 (two of my fave games) and the card handled 4K with relative ease. I wasn't concerned much with CPU as 4K gaming is harder on GPU. Reason why I'd upgraded was mainly for 4K, as well as seeing this awesome looking Leadtek card up for sale in the local tech forum garage section, lowest price I've seen for a GTX1080. Now's a great time to look for a used GPU, expecially nVidia's with the imminent release of the RTX series looming in the horizon. Seriously, a GTX780 Ti for about 91USD is a steal! I have a pair of GTX Titan (same gen as the GTX780 Ti) and they rock!

It was worth it. £200 PC is gonna be kick ass.
