Alright, this is my buld sofar,

And im about to buy the last part, my gpu, the gtx 1080ti...

But i talked with a few ppl who really think that raid tracing and the rtx lineup is gonne be the next best thing since rgb...

And tbh, the price dont bother me too much.

And i WILL NOT preorder, no matter what, but my question is, should i get a gtx 1080ti right now, or just wait it out to see how the rtx 2080ti does?

Also, its not the last part, i still need the hue 2 rgb kit, amd a few ssd's and such, but you get the point.

Don't you dare pick up a Cooler Master Hyper 212X. That thing will never in your wildest dreams be able to cool an i7-8086K.

Get yourself something like an Arctic Freezer 33 eSports One, Cryorig H7, be quiet! Dark Rock cooler, or better yet, get an AIO cooler, that 8086K will need it.

RTX will release in less than 2 weeks.. we can't answer your questions until the new cards are released

Skip the AIO and go Noctua NH-D15.

Anything to avoid a Hyper 212X, no way on Earth an 8086K will survive that.

yeah in your case I agree with seoz about the hyper 212. its unbalanced to spend 500$ on a processor only to slap a $30 cooler on it. I would budget for an AIO like the EVGA CLC 280 or one of the aformentioned air coolers.

You'll also for sure want to get either an SSD or M.2 boot drive.

Now as for the graphics card. You might want to look into the EVGA step up warranty program which lets you buy now and trade up later if you want a new card. Only applies to EVGA model GPU's of course

https://www.evga.com/support/stepup/

edit: but really, as mentioned, the new cards will be released in 2 weeks. Can it wait?

Tbh, that build makes absolutely no sense whatsoever...

Wait for the 20 series cards to launch, and check the benchmarks then.

In the meantime, return the CPU cooler and get a decent one, return the motherboard and get a decent one, return the RAM and get a faster kit, and add an SSD.

:)

AIO would be more sensible with an 8086K.

High end air works just as well with the only downsides being fitment (not a problem in a large case) and airflow.  In trade you get a device that will work for decades that will only need fan replacement.
