Quiet Fancurve

Go to solution Solved by LogicalDrm,

The fan connected directly to PSU is running at full speed all the time. So making curve for others doesn't really matter as that one will always loudest. So first get splitter and connect all fans to mobo.

The curve depends on your own needs. First find speed where your fans are just spinning and set that as low point. Then adjust speeds and see where's the highest that you can take. Then use either logarithmic or linear way to make points between those. You can use stepped too, but that will cause fans to ramp up.

Hi, I have a Ryzen 5 1600 on an MSI B350M Pro VDH. My case has 3 Fans, but the Mobo supports 2 Casefans. I connected the 2 front Fans to the mobo, and the one in the back is directly connected to the PSU.

How does a good and quiet Fancurve for the CPU Fan and the 2 front fans look like?

Only your ears can tell you what a good fan curve looks like. It depends on how quiet you want your system but you dont want to give up thermals.

Depending on which software you use, you can do a preset fan curve and just play with it a little bit from there
