If I threw in a RX 580 and a SSD, the total price would be $800 CAD. It would be an 8 core workstation, with 24GB of RAM, and would run games fine at 1080p high settings. Is this a good deal or not?

I didn't know macOS supports rx graphics drivers.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

The motherboard will reject windows OS, it probably won't work. I tried one of these old cheese grater Macs and it did not like windows.

It'll work through boot camp

the only thing is it being a 3,1 not a 5,1 I would buy it now if it was a 5,1 and do exactly that to it and run windows in bootcamp I want one of these so bad right now because I have seen what a little powerhouse that they can be made into if you put the rx580 in it its going to be better than most of apples lineup at this point and Mac OS isn't that terrible if you don't need it to do anything out of the normal. the price is great for a workhorse like this.then throw the card in it back out on the web for sale. go check out this video of him doing one for $500
