RAM speed HELP!!!!!

This is my build

CPU:1600x

MB:b450 aorus pro

GPU: Palit Gtx 1070 ti(bought it in discounted price)

RAM:

PSU:
Now, i only have 205.02 usd(converted from php) left in this build.

Is it okay to put 2400mhz ram in this build?

That speed should be just fine. I run 1866 MHz speed and don't have any problems. Although, if you can spare any cash, I would recommend getting an EVGA power supply. Their PSUs are great quality.

EVGA is expensive in my place. But thermaltake is cheaper

i don't recommend 2400mhz for Ryzen, i would go for 3000mhz.

 

Ryzen really loves RAM speed because of the way they are designed, but it's not like 2400mhz would be really bad, but you'll be losing performance.

for Intel it's different, Intel is not as hungry for RAM speed.

 

and also you should get Dual Channel, meaning 2x8GB RAM sticks.

But why most people saying ryzen only use 266mhz and some is not booting when theyre using 3000mhz?
