Where to find old laptop hardware? (Screens, boards, etc)

Kind of a weird topic for the case modding section, but I don't know where else to post this, and seems to fall under "other mods". Please let me know if there's a more appropriate place to post.

I'm trying to source a supply of used laptop hardware. My screen is pretty much on it's last legs, and I'm looking to just splice in a new panel. I don't know where I could get one though. I'm looking for a 17.3" 1080p display, preferably 100Hz or higher. Anyone know any online shops that deal in old hardware and used parts?

Aorus X7 Pro. Literally any 17.3 monitor would work, just gotta splice it in.

A while back I read about a mod for older Lenovo Thinkpads, to retrofit higher res screens. looked up the thread because I remember it having a link to a site where you could buy new, standalone panels  Hope this helps
