PC Controller Recommendation

I am looking for a PC controller that will just work with plug an play. I tried using a PS3 controller with MotionInJoy but it didn't work in most games. Does anyone know a controller that will just work without all the fuss?

look up x360ce It will remap your controller to act as a xbox 360 controller.

Wired Xbox 360 controller works perfectly. You can also buy a very inexpensive adapter to allow you to use the wireless 360 controllers.

I prefer a wired 360 controller myself since it's guaranteed work with any game that has controller support. However, Logitech makes good pads (to my knowledge) that mimics the shape and ergonomics of a PS3 controller.

If you do use a Wireless Xbox 360 controller you can use this. http://pety.me/XboxExt/ It allows you to hold down the home button to turn off the controller. Also If you hold down the home button while steam is running it will launch you into Stream Big Screen mode.

Wired XBox 360 controller. Just plug via USB, and have fun (drivers are already built-in Vista, 7 and 8. For XP you'll need to use the provided disk)

You could get one of those Razer controllers. The Sabertooth or the Onza.

I used to have the Onza and its great. Feels better than the regular x360 controller and it's wired. Really long cable too

Bought a wired MS XBOX 360 controller to play DmC and Darksiders, works just great.....I didn't have to do anything special as it works right out of the box, so to say.

Agreed, for games that require a little more finesse, like FPS and 3PS that requires you to aim precisely, a most definitive 'YES'. But for hack and slash games, like DmC, the controller makes more sense.
