3dmark timespy demo sequence

hello i have i gtx 1080ti and i74790k @4.6Ghz (cannot push 4.7 even at 1.32v maybe i have a crappy motherboard msi gaming 3 z97)

in the demo seguence in time spy i see low gpu usage 60% and low cpu usage 50-55%

but in the graphic test 1 and graphic test 2 gpu usage is maxed out 

my overall score is 8700 and graphic score is 10300

do you think the demo part is just more demanding on the cpu so its bottlenecking the gpu or what ?

When neither of them are at or near 100% there's no bottleneck.

what else could it be 

maybe some bad optimalization of the demo ?

Are you checking all the cores? Is the demo section doing something else like phyx test?

If you haven't bought TimeSpy, you have to go through a lighter demo "run" before your main benchmark run.

 

It's a PITA. All it does is consume benching time and heat up your card.

the load is somewhat equal on all cpu threads, is it posible that the cpu is slowing down the graphic card to the poin that it cant run 99% load even when no thread is maxed out ?
