So basically a case that looks like an NZXT but with 3, 4 preferable (3 for HDDs, and 1 for SSD hot swap) 5.25 inch front accessible bays.

Many new cases have moved away from 5.25" bays and Hot swappable bays in general. You might be able to do something like this in a Stryker SE (updated Full Tower case) and get a lot of 5.25" to 2.5 or 3.5" hot swap coversion bays.

If you only need to swap maybe a few hard drives and keep some more permanently attached, there's always the Enthoo Pro TG

If you're okay with giving up Hot swapability, the Define R6 can hold 11 HDD's and multiple SSD's

I'm having the hardest time settling on a case. I'm looking for something that is similar to the clean lines of an NZXT case, like the S340VRT (my current gaming case) or the H500i.

I love the tempered glass, clear view of the inside and would absolutely get another one of these for my NAS if not for wanting to have the ability to hot-swap HDDs and maybe even SSDs. So basically a case that looks like an NZXT but with 3, 4 preferable (3 for HDDs, and 1 for SSD hot swap) 5.25 inch front accessible bays.  Anyone have any suggestions in the mid tower range, I'd go full tower if need be.

I'd say my budget is mid range, but honestly I haven't found any examples that fit my desires to even guess what it would cost.

Thank you.

Thanks TVwazhere. Those are great options. The Phanteks is pretty close to what I'm looking for I think.

The Cooler Master and similar is what I've been finding with external bays. The top is what turns me off. Reminds me too much of older Alienware rigs. Not my personal preference.

That Fractal is also pretty nice. Thanks for the suggestions.

No they use server cases , not tempered glass flavor of the week cases.

Oh that's considered flavor of the week now? To bad. I'm combing the NAS in a gaming rig so figured it should always have the potential for RGB ;-)

Thanks Firewrath9. Looking to build a Gaming/NAS combo so that wouldn't work, but will keep in mind if I ever divest the two. Thanks.

Yes a glass window that explodes is very much a current fad.

It was also a fad for a short time during the 70's and 80's on particleboard cabinets for home stereos.

Had one of those growing up of course. Great memories and never exploded. Thanks for the nostalgia trip. That was nice.
