just wait for 2070, it will be at least the same than 1070 if not better.

The 2070 will be more or less the same as the 1080(based on estimates, we do not have benchmarks). Downside is that in the current market it will cost more than a 1080.

So if you have the budget for a 1070/ti you cant go very wrong.

If you're considering the 20 series then don't buy anything right now. Wait until the cards you're looking at are released and there's reviews from all the usual suspects (LTT, JayzTwoCents, Bitwit, Paul's Hardware, etc.) and decide if it's worth buying or if you would be happy with a 10 series. Especially with RTX, by the time the 2070 comes out there will be a larger library of RTX games and you can see if RTX is worth the money given this is a first gen implementation.

1070's and 1070ti's right now are bombing in price NEW because of the RTX release. The difference will likely be minimal in gaming, and if you dont want the real time ray tracing to be as flawless then id go with pascal. Remember they state the 2070 has the ray tracing capability of a Titan XP, not the performance overall of a Titan XP. And the ray tracing performance between the titan xp, 1080/ti/1070/ti isnt too huge, for most games i imagine if you wanted the ray tracing a 1070ti would still do it quite well.
