Looking for advice on wired setup

So If possible I'd like to hook my PC up to the router via wire rather then wireless if possible.  The problem is that I'm quite far from my router and I'm not sure 100ft cable would reach with the route I'd have to take to keep the cables out of sight.  So how would I go about getting cables to reach my system?  Is there a box I could buy that would repeat the signal without reducing quality?

Most Ethernet cables have a roughly 100m rated length so you should be fine if you want to go over 100ft.

You can get it in reels, it would be a lot cheaper and easier to install than buying a ready made cable

Yea that's what i'm looking at now.  Hmm can probably get the electrician that does our electrical work at work to give me a custom length for cheap.

I'm using a 45m CAT6 with no problems or degradation (within margin of course) so I don't see a reason why ~60m wouldn't work

You should probably use him to install it as well. Check your home insurance. If the cable is improperly installed and doesnt follow your countries codes you could invalidate your insurance.
