I recently tried to open my Vegas Pro 13 and it crashed as soon as the text on the start up badge reached "initializing gpu-accelerated...". I thought that something was wrong with my version of Vegas so I upgraded to Vegas Pro 15. The application never launched and I was greeted with a text box asking me to send the crash report. I also tried opening Premiere Pro, but got the same result. I have tried reinstalling the editing programs as well as my graphics card driver.

When programs like this crash it is usually the result of an error with the GPU driver. The only solution will be to revert to a previous driver version.
