Amazon

Budget is actually about £1300 but the list is the kind of specs I think I need (feel free to correct me)

So this is the kind of thing I want to build, enough for titanfall 2 high @ 1080p 60hz, other games are csgo, tf2, rocket league, maybe some newer titles

On amazon it costs about £810 + £100  for windows 10 but on pcspecialist I can get the same spec, (quality of psu and motherboard doesn't matter on prebuilt) and dual channel memory for about £950 so is it worth the £40 premium to get them to build it for me

I already have peripherals and will run 1 VGA / DVI-D 1080p 60hz

So I want to know:

-Should I pay for the prebuilt (extra money for lower quality parts)

-Will it run all my games smoothly

-Should I get 144hz

"extra money for lower quality parts" Why would you want to pay more for less?
If you know how; build it yourself. If you don't know how; learn (watch some youtube videos on how to build a PC).

Ryzen 2600 + GTX 1060 6GB will be a good pairing and should be able to easily handle 1080p 144hz in CSGO, TF2, and Rocket League. You should be able to get 60+ fps in Titanfall 2 on high as well.

If you can, get 2x8GB of 3000MHz or 3200MHz memory. If there's no room in the budget then maybe get 2x4GB 3000MHz instead of the 1x8GB 2666MHz so you can utilise dual channel.

I was going to suggest to get the TX550M instead of the TX650M to save some money, but the TX550M is more expensive for some reason. Instead you could use a CX450M which will be plenty for a Ryzen 2600 + GTX 1060

How big is your games folder? How many games do you own? I'd also maybe look at a 2TB HDD instead of the 1TB. 1TB can fill up pretty quickly with games these days. 35 Pounds for the 1TB and 50 Pounds for the 2TB so not a huge difference in cost. If CSGO, TF2, and Rocket League are the only games you have I wouldn't worry about it, 1TB will be plenty.

I'd recommend deciding on what monitor and what GPU to use before buying either. If you are going to buy a new high refresh rate monitor, consider whether or not you want a monitor with either freesync (AMD) or Gsync (Nvidia). You will then need to pair that monitor with the respective graphics card to utilise its Freesync/Gsync functionality. The AMD RX 580 8GB performs similarly to the GTX 1060 6GB, and is priced around the same price as well. So decide what monitor (if any) you want to buy and then pick the graphics card to go with it.

CSGO and Rocket League would definitely benefit from upgrading to a 144Hz monitor.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

@Spotty thanks for your reply!

http://amzn.eu/fAnhnoR

I will certainly be watching a tutorial as i go then when i build

I changed the RAM and PSU

My whole steam library is very small and will fit on the ssd, not that I would put them all onto it as I dont play them all frequently.

In any case I have a 2tb portable hard drive so in total 3.5tb of storage

I have added a £200 144hz freesync monitor to go with the rx 580 8gb, this is NOT included in the budget because I will ask for it for christmas a few months after building the PC, until then I will use my 60hz monitor

Other than that I may change the case after reading reviews of the current one.

Thanks!
