Should I add another 16gb ram to my laptop?

I bought a new laptop that comes with 16gb RAM, It's doing well, and It works fine, but I was thinking of upgrading the ram and adding a 4G card. I don't like to open the laptop several times; this is the reason why I'm thinking of getting everything and install it.

 

I use the computer for multiple things like browsing with a lot of tabs opened; I also use it for little bit editing and documents.

What are your thoughts?

Doesnt seem that ram intensive tbh. What is your ram usage in taskmanager while doing those things?

I get around 30%-40%

Then you would be fine with even 8gb, no need for 32gb.

having 200 tabs open in google chrome, doing some video rendering or something.

In normal use cases 16gb is plentyful, but you said that you do some editing. What sort of editing?

Not that much editing just a small video editing like 5-10min and sometimes photo editing. That's it.

Then 32gb would be very overkill for you.

 

16gb will be plentyful for you for many years.
