the Corsair 400C is over 2 years old, does it still comply with todays standards?

The 400C is still very modern. The only  "modern" thing it doesnt have is Tempered glass, but it makes up for that with a very nice acrylic door.

Hi,

Im in the need to replace my 2 week old case. Ive come across 2 cases, the Corsair Carbide 400C(https://att.is/product/corsair-carbide-400c-kassi) and the CoolerMaster MasterBox Pro 5(https://att.is/product/cm-masterbox-5-pro-rgb-kassi)

Which one should i get? I heard the CM MasterBox Pro 5 has really bad airflow but the Corsair 400C is over 2 years old, does it still comply with todays standards? RGB isnt a point for me, its rather the availability in my country

The Corsair is 2 years old yes but cases don't age like that. Unless the way components fit inside change then it doesn't matter when it was made over the quality of the design. Between the listed two it is much better if you just care about the quality and not the fancy asthetics. Great airflow and more premium you can't go wrong, although there is a newer and better version available.

The CoolerMaster case actually isn't bad, but pitting these two against each other there is a clear winner. What's outdated about the Corsair is purely it being Acrylic on the panel and not glass yet in other areas it outperforms newer cases such as its unique and easy way of opening.
