How to Test a monitor

Hey everyone I am about to buy a used monitor from someone, He says that there are no dead pixels and he is letting me test it. How should I test a used monitor, are there tools online for this? What do you guys do when you buy used monitors?

I use Lagom's LCD test images to do basic testing and calibration.
