Ive had a "Stable" (Only tested around 45 mins) overclock on my 8600k 1.245v @ 4.7ghz.

Aida64 was fine for 20 minuits too.

I ran OCCT CPU (not linpack) test and it errors within 5 mins. I have to up voltage to 1.25 @ 4.6Ghz To get it to pass OCCT CPU for 20ish mins.

What do you guys use to stress test? Is it worth it trying to get OCCT to pass?

I use OCCT. Aida64 is not nearly demanding enough to crash an OC that is not outright unstable or it just takes a ridiculous amount of time to do so.

Usually, if I am stable for an hour in OCCT with Large Data set, then I am usualy fine in anything else as well.

I use OCCT and Cinebench. I find they compliment each other nicely and Cinebench is great for seeing realistic load temperature spikes as well.

Passed OCCT 4.6ghz at 1.255v for over an hour. You guys think thats decent or should I push for more?

I had overclocks perfectly stable in OCCT, prime and Aida but when I start real world tasks like playing a game or smthn else I crash immediately, so try gaming and etc before pushing more
