Need a second monitor

Ok so I already have the BenQ XL2420TE and I am looking to get a second monitor. The reason being is that while the BenQ is stellar for what it is the color could be better.

I am looking for a monitor that will have little to no ghost and great color. I will be using this monitor for movies/bluray and games like Skyrim. The BenQ monitor is solely for FPS.

 

Any suggestions? Also I would like to keep the cost below $300 if possible.

But do you use it for games like Skyrim? I can't have this thing ghosting all over the place.

Mine never ghosted (that I could tell) while playing skyrim or battlefield. Of course you will be able to pick up on ghosting better as you are used to 120/144hz.

It  looks good and the price is nice. Wish it was over 60Hz, but that might be ok. If it looks good in BF4 then it is a suitable monitor I think.

That being said does anyone else have any suggestions?

Yes. Because the BenQ is 24 inch. We must have alignment.

 

Would you say the AOC is a good monitor though compared to the Dell?

Buying a second unit of what you already have will be best. I have two monitors which happen to be the same size but the difference in colour, response and the fact the heights will never be aligned perfectly is a little annoying.

I would but the BenQ doesn't have as good of color.

It's a good monitor but then again the AOC panel is 1080p and the Dell is 1200p.

The only reason I ask is because I could get two of the AOC for the price of the Dell. My only concern is that there are no comprehensive reviews on that AOC yet. I will be doing graphic rich games like Skyrim on these other monitors so I need to make sure it will look and perform well.

Seeing a lot of reviews about color issues, dieing after ~1 year and a really flimsy stand. And these aren't just the ones on Newegg either. Also no DVI

GTX 780 has D-port, HDMI and 2 x DVI. Yeah I could get adapters/splitters.

http://pcmonitors.info/reviews/aoc-i2369vm talks about PWM flicker (which I can see easily, one of those that notices it), has some clouding when all black or in a dark room, backlight bleed, needs color adjustments, wobbly stand etc.

Hmm. Perhaps there might be more differences between the monitor I linked and the unboxing video I linked. The reviews for the i2367Fh on amazon look promising but there are none for the I2369VM.
