[Solved] CPU seems to have temperature spikes after installing new AIO cooler

I just the CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML240L for my build yesterday in order to improve my temps. It did improve my temps dramtically (from 40C to 33C idle without core performance boost, CPB, enabled @ 3.6 Ghz; and from 60C to 40C with CPB enabled @ 4.1-4.2 Ghz). However, whenever I had CPB enable and, the temperatures for the CPU would spike from 39 to 50C randomly; when under load, it would spike even more from 67C-80C, yet the voltage didn't seem to change from 1.36 at all. The strangest thing is it doesn't seem to spike as much (or hardly at all) when either idle or under load. These spikes weren't as frequent when I had my stock cooler. I've been on the discord server asking for help but haven't been able to figure out why it is spiking so frequently.

I'm now at a point where I just want my base speeds at idle and only want the 4.1/4.2 Ghz whenever I'm doing something heavy (i.e. rendering in Blender or using high end shaders on Minecraft), so not only my fans do not spin up and cause lots of noise, but keep my temps from spiking so often/at all. Thanks in advance

I just fixed it. I went back to an old system image after the computer starting giving me BSOD (saying BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO) and it stopped spiking during idle
